Phil @ Full Strength!

I just read an article at ESPN.com about Phil Mickelson's off-season transformation...

The article says,"Thus, what's left of Lefty is more muscle than usual."
Golf_ap_phil_195
To which Phil adds, "The last three or four months...I immediately lost 20, 25 pounds and put on about 10 to 15 more with muscle from lifting."

I love it... Phil finds a new use for the iron!

I'm happy for Phil - he's an amazing athlete who's been allowing himself to get his ars kicked by "The Tiger" who's arguably the strongest complete athlete in sports.

I'd been reaching out to get Phil some Full Strength - I can attest to it's value in golf, when you really need high quality nutrition, quickly that doesn't weight you down. It's no good to have a meal that will last you for three hours if all you're wanting to do is nap.

And with Full Strength's built-in cognitive (brain) fuel, the way it elevates your focus and energy, it's the perfect fast food for a strong 18. And now that he's taking control of his strength and stamina, it's ever more ideal. If you see him out there, please share a strength with him.

Here's to Phil Starting Strong and Staying Strong! I know Tiger could use the competition.

Hi Shawn,

I have a question. Many months ago, I was able to purchase ( and I do love it) Full Strength Vanilla shakes.

I purchased it through a reliable supplement online store. However, almost every online site I visit states that the "product has been discontinued" Why is that Shawn? Could you clarify this for me as I would certainly like to believe Full Strength will be around for awhile.

I thank you!

You guys have to clean up the grammar on your Web site -- makes it look unprofessional. The difference between "it's" and "its", "lose" versus "loose", etc. This lack of attention to detail makes me think that maybe Full Strength is just a more expensive powder.

Mike,

Thank you for the inspiration to be more attune to my writing. I really do appreciate what you're (you are - not your, right?) saying.

Just to be sure, you are pointing out this regarding my BLOG... or is it also on the site? Could be both...

One, is says something for the quality of Full Strength. And two (not "B") it's all me. I take the blame for that.

I'm the guilty party -- I'm a pretty good writer and pride myself on being innovative, insightful, creative and creating meaning and connection. I really do both enjoy writing and believe I can do it, better than many.

That said, I've become rather lazy in the spelling and grammer -- and this has lead to numerous, repetitive errors...one of which you pointed out. Yes, that's me. Sorry about that. Usually my friend Tom tries to clean those out for me but I let the BLOGS fly without a second look.

I have to say that I appreciate your vision, your attention to detail. It's rare and I have it in many areas as well. Just not on this issue -- thus, I understand how it can come off. I do trust not everyone is as tuned in as you are to this and thus we've not done extensive damage.

Thank you!
Shawn

John,

Thank you for your inquiry on Full Strength. Yes, you are right... the product got pulled out of retail for business reasons -- and the best that most retailers can do is list it as "discontinued."

Never mind them pulling it off alltogether so they don't send the wrong message. No, that seems to be too much to ask.

Why have we gone back to direct with it? Heck, there's a story... I'm sure I've told it a few times but not sure where, at the moment.

I'd love to tell the entire story here but best take the time to BLOG it all -- it's an ideal Harvard Business case study. Safe to say, we learned A LOT.

The simplest, quickest way to say it now is, I cared to much about you and this product to allow it to be destroyed. The market, i had hoped was ready for a premium offering, for something that made a real difference. I was mistaken. The heart is in large gone, the store owners who care and make a difference are few and far between. They are around but not like it used to be.

It's become a "cheapest shit wins" market...and no one knows how to convey the true quality.

That's part of it... good news is we have it here and it's growing in popularity like crazy. Those who know and love the difference seak it. That's what matters... and I can't keep it in stock so why waste it out there.

Oh, and the internet... well, there's chapter 3 of "How to Kill a Great Product."

More on that later...

Stay Strong,
Shawn

Love the Phil reference "a new way to use iron" -- that's classic.

Four hours of freedom:
1. Start with a Full Strength Shake.
2. Play 18 holes of golf.

Rock on...

Hi Shawn

I'm doing BFL, and I'm finishing up with my 4th week this week. I did BFL about 4 years ago but I didn't get my bodyfat down. I'm doing the HIIT as in the book 3 x per week (20min) and weights 3 x per week. But seeing this is what I did last time I've added this week a spinning class on monday nights (the 20 min HIIT is in the mornings) and last night I started adding your 5 min HIIT that you talk about in your book and in the article you wrote in Muscle Media Magazine. I live in New Zealand, female, 30. I only have 8 weeks left and I really want get rid of all my fat (a woman's greatest wish :-). Is what I'm doing ok, or should I do more or something else. Thanks, Amor
