Phil @ Full Strength!

I just read an article at ESPN.com about Phil Mickelson's off-season transformation...

The article says,"Thus, what's left of Lefty is more muscle than usual."

To which Phil adds, "The last three or four months...I immediately lost 20, 25 pounds and put on about 10 to 15 more with muscle from lifting."

I love it... Phil finds a new use for the iron!

I'm happy for Phil - he's an amazing athlete who's been allowing himself to get his ars kicked by "The Tiger" who's arguably the strongest complete athlete in sports.

I'd been reaching out to get Phil some Full Strength - I can attest to it's value in golf, when you really need high quality nutrition, quickly that doesn't weight you down. It's no good to have a meal that will last you for three hours if all you're wanting to do is nap.

And with Full Strength's built-in cognitive (brain) fuel, the way it elevates your focus and energy, it's the perfect fast food for a strong 18. And now that he's taking control of his strength and stamina, it's ever more ideal. If you see him out there, please share a strength with him.

Here's to Phil Starting Strong and Staying Strong! I know Tiger could use the competition.

The Mechanics of Motivation

It’s 6 am… another late night, last thing I want to do is press a couple hundred pounds off my chest a few dozen times... not top of my list at the moment. No thanks!

Do you know the feeling? I tell you, I did this morning.

If you’ve been training for any length of time, you know there are times when you can’t be stopped and times when you can get going

What’s the difference? Why is it so easy at times and so damned difficult to train others?

That really is the question… and you know, there really are some answers.

I’ve got good reason to think know a lot of the answers – both from years of experience and considerable studying in the area… Then of course there’s the obvious “movers” like Bill’s Body for LIFE. But even with something that works, like that, there’s a personal element to what makes it work so well for some and not so for others.

Alas, it’s not more of my answers I crave it's yours... I need your wisdom!

I want to know what makes you start strong, stay strong and keep going strong... That’s why I’m launching this: The WORLD’S Largest Real-World Study of Fitness Motivation.

The premise is simple… really.

My plan is to get 10,000, 20,000 up to 100,000 people to share their most powerful, most effective motivation tip or technique and then, using a lot of smart people and a scientific data collection engine, determine the 21 Most Effective Techniques For Creating And Sustaining Unstoppable Motivation.

With this wisdom I know you can become an unstoppable force for your fitness.

What do you think? Are you up for making your contribution to the study?

Go here now and share your insight – do it now, while the bonus is still good.

Check it out –  you’ll appreciate the reward.

Please Tell me: What Moves You?

Wow! Happy New Year?

Pardon me... for not saying "Happy New Year!" to everyone.

I can hardly believe it's mid-January already. What the hell happened? I've got no idea. Well, that's not entirely accurate - I am clear that since my last post I enjoyed a snowy Christmas, a snowy-er new year's eve and have been besieged by weather eveery week since.

For the first few Fridays is was snow and more snow. At my house we've enjoyed nearly 7-feet of snow in about three weeks. Then the winds came -- and with all that snow it shut everything down.

It's been a wild new year... welcome! Sorry to be out of touch at such a critical time of year but I'm looking forward to a terrific, transformative 07 and I hope you're feeling the energy as well.

Here's to Starting Strong in 07!

Ronald McDonald goes Full Strength!

I was thinking to myself the other day (really, I was) as I flew past a nearby Golden Arches, “What would you get if Ronald McDonald ever hooked into Full Strength?”

Wow! Was I ever shocked to find out! Carrot_top

Oh my! I didn’t know whether to be afraid or impressed; or perhaps a little of both.

Ah…I jest at Carrot Top’s expense. Quite seriously you’ve got to give the man credit – I admire his commitment and determination and the same goes for anyone who’s putting in the focused effort to build a strong a body – which his clearly is.

Talk about a transformation! Good for you CT! Don't even think about it Ronald... Carrot Top would mess ya' up.

Here’s to feeling the strength!
